Question: Do you collect personal information about me when I visit you web site?
Answer: No. You can come and go as often as you want without leaving any personal information.
Buyers
Question: What happens if I make a purchase from your web site?
Answer: When you make a purchase from the Extended Years website, we do our best to insure the proper handling of your order and customer information.
When you are making your order, as soon as you indicate that you will paying by credit card, your order is taken to a SECURE SERVER. This means that the information you provide is transmitted over the internet in ENCRYPTED form. Should this data fall into malicious hands, they would only see gobbeldy gook.
We receive this "gobbeldy gook" and DECODE it using a special DECRYPTION key. Only then is your credit card information readable.
After your information has been decoded, it is stored OFFLINE, in a computer that is NOT connected to the internet.
Question: What do you do with the customer information you keep on file?
Answer: To provide you with the best possible service, we keep a record of each individual purchase you make. Should you have a question about ANY order you have made with us or should you want to order "more of the same" we can quickly locate the necessary information.
We also keep a record of your current address, phone and email. This record also shows your order history with us (individual purchases) and your mail preferences.
Question: Do you use this information to send me mail?
Answer: We regularly send reminder mailings to our customers. We don't want you to forget us! Our postcard mailings featuring pet pictures have proven quite popular. But, if you do not wish to get mail from us, simply express your mail preferences and, if you wish, we will take you off our mailing list immediately. We have no desire to send you mail you don't want.
Question: Do you sell my name and address to other companies?
Answer: We never release customer email addresses to other companies. By special arrangement we may allow selected companies to send mail to our customers. If you prefer NOT to receive mailings from other companies, simply express your mail preferences and we will honor them.
You CAN have your mail removed from third party mailings and still continue to get postcards or other mail from us.

Question: Will you send me email after I have made a purchase from you?
Answer: On occasion we do send email to customers. We try to make these occasional messages short, meaningful and friendly. But, if you do not to receive these occasional emails from us, simply express your mail preferences and we will honor them.
Question: Do you ever give my email address to other companies?
Answer: No, never.
