Just returned from the vet. My cat was in a cat fight. He shaved the hair off the swollen area above the tail base. There were two puncture wounds. it was draining blood tinged pus. the vet injected povi-iodine into the wounds with a syringe. Then injected Bactoderm into the wounds. Also gave a shot of antiboctics. Your cat Has prombably been in a fight.
