Della my heart goes out to you - I'm so sorry for your loss of dear little Ninja. He was so young; I wonder if it may have been some sort of congenital abnormality that he inherited perhaps? I know one always has questions in these sort of situations; anyway that was my experience. In the end I found that nothing really helps other than time... my best wishes to you and husband
: My kitty was only a year and a half. He had no health problems until 2 weeks ago he developed a blocked urethra from crystal formation. He was hospitalized for 3 days and came home fine. Started new vet recommended diet.
: Few days ago my husband found him lying by the basement door limp, dilated pupils, shallow breathing, cold all over. Emergency vet worked hard but Ninja died 4 hours later. Vet said he vomited once. Xrays normal. Labs normal. Vet was not sure what happened. My guess was he had a massive stroke but I dont know.
