Hiding/sleeping in unusual places can mean they are in pain or unwell.: my cat has had a runny nose for the past few days. this evening we notice she had not eaten he food (dry) and her lower mouth is swollen. She is still sociable and will sit on our laps andpurr. however, the past few nights she has ben sleeping under our bed wich she never does. She alwys sleep with my husband andI or on the couch. Do we need to take her to the vet or will this pass? She is an obease 8 yr old female tabby.
