Hi, i have tried many things on our dogs including the chemical thing you get from the vet, the thing we now use on both our dogs is just checking their coat and usin genuine bush grown tea tree oil you can get it from any pet shop and also the shampoo, you will however have to spray your house with chemicals and leave it for an hour so that any live ones or eggs are killed off but i am convinced this is the way forward. It also works on minor irritations I really swear by it. Good luck. Monique
