Did you or someone change food, or feed something new, or give too much of some food. Check for freshness of the food you have offered. Since gastroenteritis is infectious, make sure the hamster doesn't mingle with other hamsters. Since things are okay so far, assume the gut bacteria will adjust (re-balance) and things may settle down. Of course, monitor for wet tail (diarrhea) and take to vet at first sign of this symptom.
