ummmm could someone help plzzz?? i have a hamster that had about 10 babies just yesterday and today my cat was curious because of all the squeaking and knocked over her cage and all the babies fell out of the cage the mom got really worried(i think)because she SHOVED A BABY HAMSTER IN HER POUCH!! i cleaned up and used the bedding that the babies were in to pick them up and put them back in the cage but the mom is holding another baby in her mouth and is runnning around the cage paying no attention at all to all the other babies. Could someone tell me why she would shove a baby in her pouch? and will the baby be alive? and is there anything i could do for her to pay attention to the babies and get the baby in her pouch out of her pouch? plzzzz answer quickly because i read on the internet/book that baby hamsters get BEHEADED when they are in a mother hamster's cheek pouch plzzzzz help thanx
