Mast Cell growing

Posted by Bear's Mom (71.251.182.210) on July 29, 2007 at 20:24:18:

My soon to be 12 year old Golden Retriever had a large mast cell tumor surgically removed in March 2007. The tumor has returned with a vengence even after a high dose Prednisone treatment. What else is there to do? I am giving him a diet of rice, chicken, fresh vegetables and fruit. He is still lively, happy, eating well but the tumor gets in his way. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
