Re: Laryngeal paralysis and homeophathy for dogs

Hi - there are a few homoepathics that can help here, but I would try Causticum 30C, as this remedy is also for older dogs. If she is having an attack, you can administer it every 5 minutes until improvement, then hourly for 2 more treatments. If you can get it in a liquid form, apply it to the body - just part the fur and drop 4-5 drops onto the skin, making sure the liquid makes contact. To give as a preventative, try 3 times daily for four days.
nb-The other all-purpose remedy to have on hand is Aconite 6C - if you give a one-off dose of this at the first sign of agitation or distress, it can often circumvent an attack (works for any shock/emergency type situation).

: I'm wondering if anyone knows a homeopathic remedy for a 13.5 year old greyhound/lab mix with laryngeal paralysis. When she gets overheated or excited, her breath becomes extremely raspy and her tongue darkens from lack of oxygen. I'm interested in a fast-acting homeopathic remedy or an accupressure point to stimulate, to help her recover more quickly from these crises.
