Re: homeopathy for pets helpPosted by Julia (58.163.153.23) on August 31, 2007 at 20:13:15: : Okay; good luck! If you have any specific queries regarding your dog's health, you can email me on : allspecies_nd@yahoo.com.au. Another book I would recommend highly is "Bach Flower Remedies for Animals" by Helen Graham and Gregory Vlamis - it's a terrific reference for pets. Hello Julia, Thank you for answering. : : I will look around and see what I find. It would be great if there was a website like homeoint.org for animals. So we can just type in a symptom in the blank space and it would take us to a list of suggested remedies. : : I have no knowledge of flower remedies. I will have to educate myself. : : Thanks a lot. : : : : : That is the beauty of homeopathy - you don't need a diagnosis necessarily; you work on the symptoms. Not just physical, but mental and emotional as well. In addition, the flower essences (particularly the Bach flowers) can help wonderfully well with emotional/behavioural problems, and also the emotional aspects of health issues. Regarding Materia medica for animals; check out some of the on-line holistic animal practitioner websites which often have good information. Otherwise, Dr George McLeod (now deceased but his books are still in print) has published a series of classic materia medica for dogs, cats, horses and many other animals. : : : : how does one know how to ask for help when a pet is sick and they just have symptoms and we don't know what is wrong with them? How to tell if they are in pain? We have a dog who looks like he can't think very well when he gets sick. The vet doesn't know what is wrong either. How does one post a question to ask for help when we don't know what is wrong? Follow Ups: |
