bone infection

HI, hope someone can help! I resued a baby bunny after noticing for a while that it had a bad front leg(neighbours).I took it to the vets and was told he had a bone infection so have been geting the puss out two times per day and giving the poor thing antibiotics 2x a day. He looked like he had got rid of the infection as the puss stopped coming out and the wound closed up with fur growing over the leg for the first time. After stopping the anibiotics his leg has swollen again though the fur is still on the leg and there is no open wound but the vet has given me antibiotics again.... can anyone suggest something to help natural wise or any help at all as i may have to suggest aan amputation which would be a shame at this stage as when he started to use his leg again he was able to jump down the stairs etc where as before on the one leg he would try to land and just fall as his balance is bad.
Didn't intend on having a bunny but have fallen in love with this one as i think he is brave !! Thanks for reading
