: Hi Wendy.  I would like to answer your query from a holistic health perspective.
: Firstly, I would suggest that the basis of Stella's health issues is a poor immune system - no doubt a result of the terrible conditions she was born into. Allergies are a classic symptom of this; as are growths such as histocytomas, etc. A poorly-functioning immune system is often further compromised by vaccinations (in my experience, classic cause of allergies & growths), and poor (commercial) diet.  So I would say: stop vaccinating, and introduce Stella to a raw, natural diet if she is not already on this. Her digestive system works best on this; it is what she has been genetically designed to eat - fresh raw meat, some pulped vegies, raw bones (eg chicken wings/necks) etc.  Often I find there is a digestive/liver problem with allergy sufferers.   The first homeopathic remedy I would recommend for her is Thuja.  This is a remedy for growths of all kinds.  It will also help clear her system from any negative effects of vaccination.  Get it in the potency of 30C, and give it to her three times daily for 10 days. Then wait a couple of days, and get the homeopathic Nux Vomica also 30C - give three times daily for 5 days.  This will help her liver, digestion and any negative effects of chemicals/drugs etc. 
:  I would also suggest supplements to help build her immune system.  Vitamin C is a natural antihistamine (get the buffered, non-acidic kind).  Also recommended: colostrum and probiotics - all available from a health food store.  Next, you can work on the allergies homeopathically, which are much better for her in the long run than the shots she is getting now.  I would suggest you get in contact with an animal homeopathic/naturopath for this- you can get remedies for specific allergens.  
: It is a little bit of work, but will be well worth it when you have a healthy little dog - good on you for rescuing her from the puppy mill - they are a disgrace.

: It is on her lower left side of her lip.  It has been a month; and has grown quite a bit..mainly black.  My vet it may go away within a couple of months..or I could asperate it and biospy it or remove it surgically.  She feels it is benign but admits she is not God. Not sure what to do.

: : Stella has had a lot of health issues.  I got her from a filthy puppy mill.  I now have to inject her with a serum for allergies.  There are so many things she is allergic to.  This summer was much worse than the last.  We were going to use a chinese remedy for preventative..but after food and enviormental allergy testing it was too overwelming.  Because she is so young my vet was too concerned about this next spring not to go and  try desensitizing to the top 14 things she is allergic too..that I have no control over.  I hope I am doing the right thing.  The vet Dr Schless of Woburn, ma feels we should know if this will work within 6 months.
