Chronic Poodle Ear Yeast Infections

Posted by Jese Keranzuu (4.159.68.49) on December 31, 2007 at 11:37:12:

Was wondering if there might be a solution for this beyond a vets visit.

My poodle has had chronic ear infections with a yeast cause for many years. She's got a recent flare up, and I know its a yeast infection - don't even need to go to the vets to know that. I'm looking to treat her with an effective natural and less expensive treatment to clear up her ears, and outside of 50/50 vinegar/water, I'm at a loss.

Has anyone tried Azo on such things? Is it safe for dogs use? I'm curious because she's good at taking pills and this seems like a valid answer. If it isn't, are there any suggestions?
