In Reply to: My horses, skin problems posted by Terry Marsh on October 03, 2004 at 17:56:29: My horse too gets very itchy and rubs his main and tail, I now give him homopathic tablets sulphur 6C just over 3 days one 20mins before or after breakfast and one 20mins before or after tea. Do not touch the tablets either click straight into the mouth or put on a spoon then into mouth. The itching has normally stopped by day 2. If he starts again then he gets another dose - I try to keep a long while in between courses as I dont want him to become immune. Another horse on a yard I have just moved to has been treated and again day 2 stopped rubbing.
