I have a 10 year old Appendix QH who may possibly have navicular, unfortunately we have to wait until September to get the required xrays. He is sound on and off, he is in bar shoes and on an herbal painkiller for Navic. He cannot stand on his front left foot for very long before he must put it down. He also has a strongert digital pulse in in front left. I know he needs stall rest but he has an old stifle injury which requires that he be work everyday to be kept in top shape or else his hindend will start to seize with more than one day off. With this work his hindend stays completely sound but his front end is occassionally better and then goes sore again for a few days....and the cycle continues! I want to know if anyone has any suggestions, once i know it is navicular he will go on an aggressive does on Navicon, but until then is there anything else he can be on to help? Or if you think it may be something else, i'd like any suggestions!

thanks,
Kait
