Gosh , many things come to mind... ever had problems with that wormer before ? Any welts?hives? Lice will do that, but if you used Ivermectin it should have killed them. What is your climate? Hve seen mosquito allegy do something like that ...Rainburn/rot ? Have had a pony or two do something similar , but not all of hair - vitamin/mineral supplements helped (I used Source I think) started adding a lquid B-vitamin as per directions and mix seemed to becoame a lot more effective ..Best wishes and bless you for keeping an older animal !
