Swollen under breast sounds like a nasty little item we had going around here (NC WA state ). We called it "pigeon chest" , I don't know the formal name. The swelling for it felt harn sometimes but when opened would turn out to have a _lot_ of pus in it .Antibiotics didn't help cause it was walled off. It was weird too because one animal in a pasture would get it but not another. Think I would call a vet. Some animals animals died from it. Bless you for keeping an older animal !
