ExtendedYears.com was launched in February, 2000, as a co-venture between Dr. Richard Stein, a practicing veterinarian and owner of the Petcare Animal Hospital in Monticello, New York, and Philip Goutell, a direct marketing professional, owner of Lightyears, Inc. (PerfumeProjects.com, Bio-Byte.com, FrankBush.com).

Our original purpose to offer active forums and answers to pet questions by Dr. Stein has long since been defeated by the automated spamming software which killed our forums and the huge volume of pet questions Dr. Stein received (he was backlogged by over 1,000 questions at one time!) which forced him to "turn off the faucet" in order to continue serving his barking, meowing clinic patients.

Yet we continue to solicit your input on our forum "Post A Message" forms. We do read your messages and – if appropriate – we will post them on the board.

As to your orders, we continue to fill orders, both domestic and foreign, and usually manage to ship within two working days with the exceptions of the Christmas week and a week around the Easter/Passover holidays, when we are closed.
