Research that issue. Vets charge various amounts for the surgery depending on location as well as the dog. I have a chihuahua. The recovery is at least 6 to 8 weeks. The longer you wait, the greater long term problems. After 3 weeks, my dog is using his leg again. I had the three hour surgery done four days after the injury. The cost was $365. Good luck.
