lab has difficulty opening mouth[ Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] Posted by rose on May 15, 2007 at 23:20:52: 2 year lab has difficulty opening his mouth. He has had this problem since he was a puppy. He has been treated with antibiotics and prednisone. The problem goes away for awhile, but then comes back. The vet does not know what causes this. Also, his head and face have atrophied.
